Private View Thursday 21 September, 6-9pm
with an opening address by Professor Paul Coldwell of The University of the Arts, London
WhereNow examines the human condition as we adapt to the radical changes that have taken place in our lives at the turn of the 21st century. Are we now more, or less secure? Has digital technology changed our understanding of identity? Do we have a collective past and is our future dependent on it? Do we still see the same?
Using lenticular photography, large-scale digital and mixed media prints, sound, shadow and aroma installations the work attempts to create reference points to locate and establish some sanctuary on our perilous journey.
